Charla Haley returned to morning radio late last month after almost a five-year absence.

She has teamed up again with Kelly Monson weekday mornings from 6-10 on KBZN ("The Breeze, FM-97.9). Haley co-hosted with Monson on KBZN in 1998 and at KUMT ("The Mountain") from 1996-98.

Monson said Haley will do more than just provide news reports: she will also be a second personality on the show. Haley is also the news director for KBZN.

Haley also did news for KISN AM/FM — including a stint with the former "Fisher and Todd" show. She also was a news reporter for KSL more than 10 years ago.

— Once again, KBZN is the radio sponsor for both the Salt Lake City Jazz Festival (July 11-13) and the Park City Jazz Festival (Aug. 22-24). Go to www.kbzn.com for more details.

YOUR CHANCE TO MAKE A TV COMMERCIAL — Radio station KENZ ("The End," FM-107.5) and its morning hosts, "Chunga and Mister," are inviting listeners to make its next TV commercial.

This "Show Us Your End TV Commercial" contest requires listeners to make a 30-second spot that may be chosen to run later this summer on Utah's WB.

The top three commercials will also win cash prizes — $3,000 for first place, $2,000 for second place and $1,000 for third place.

Stop by Citadel Communications, 434 Bearcat Drive, to pick up a starter kit — or better yet, download the starter kit from the End's Web site at www.1075.com.

The contest ends July 14, with the winners being announced July 17 at 8 a.m.
