Beloved Wife

and Mother

Regina (Reggie) Flammer Fairbourn, age 73, passed away August 14, 2003 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's.

Reggie was born to Hans and Arizona Gibbons Flammer on June 28, 1930 in Snowflake, Arizona. She and her family moved to Logan in 1943 where she finished high school and attended Utah State University. She married Marlin Fairbourn in the Logan Temple on September 17, 1953.

Reggie was a very devoted full-time wife and mother. She served as a guide on Temple Square, Young Women's President, Relief Society President, Mission Mother of the Hawaii Honolulu Mission 1992-1995, Temple Worker at the Jordan River Temple and EMT for Draper City. Reggie was well-known for her countless, unselfish acts of service and her cheerful disposition.

Reggie is survived by her husband, Marlin Alma Fairbourn; sons: David (Margie), Brad (Marcie), Todd (Kim); daughter: Vicki (Craig Houmand). She has 18 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Gordon (Luen), Corolie (Roy) Hoefler, Mary (John) Talmadge, Steve (Shauna), and Diane Flammer. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

Funeral services Mon., Aug 18, 2003, 11 a.m. at the Crescent 30th Ward, 89 East 11000 South, Sandy, UT. Viewing: Sun., Aug 17, 2003, 6 to 8 p.m., Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street, Midvale, UT and preceding the funeral services from 9 to 10:45 a.m. at the chapel.
