FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — A former Texas oil millionaire acquitted of gunning down two people in his mansion 27 years ago must pay one victim's children $250,000, a judge ruled Monday.

Judge Bonnie Sudderth ruled in favor of Jon and Heather Farr, who in a lawsuit said Cullen Davis still owes them money he agreed to pay in out-of-court settlements in 1990 and 1993, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported in its online edition Monday.

Their father, Stan Farr, was a former Texas Christian University basketball player and the live-in boyfriend of Davis' ex-wife, Priscilla. Stan Farr was killed along with Priscilla Davis' 12-year-old daughter. Priscilla Davis and a family friend were shot and wounded.

Davis was acquitted of capital murder in the girl's slaying and of murder-for-hire charges in connection with his divorce case. He was not tried in Stan Farr's death.
