Howard, age 78, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2003, peacefully in his sleep at the Fay Case Care Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born November 25, 1924, in Mount Pleasant, Utah, to Howard Junius and Gladys Amanda (Johansen) Draper. Married Doris Deon Green September 1, 1944, in Salt Lake City. Sealed for eternity December 3, 1964, in the Logan Temple. Howard served in the army during World War II as a guard in a German prison camp. He worked for and retired from the United States Post Office as a mail handler for 31 years. He was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many capacities. He loved bowling, fishing, football, and his grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, one sister, one granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife, daughters Nancy (Carl) Bailey, Sandy; Susan (Rolf) Andersen, Kearns; James (Debra) Draper, South Lyons, Michigan; David (Dawn) Draper, West Jordan; Rick and Joy Andersen, Taylorsville; four Sisters, Carolyn Bolton, Lois Isaackson, Atholeen Larsen, June Butcher; and one brother Billie Draper; 12 grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 9th at 11:00 a.m. at the Taylorsville 15th Ward, 1250 West 4375 South, Taylorsville. Friends may call on Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Rd., West Jordan and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment to follow the service at Redwood Memorial
