1959 ~ 2004
David Eugene Halverson passed away on January 13, 2004, at his home in Salt Lake City.
David was born February 7, 1959, in Salt Lake City, to Eugene H. and Joyce Houghton Halverson. Throughout his life, David has always had a compassionate heart and a generous spirit. He enjoyed music and the arts and spending time with friends and family.
David's compassion led him into the field of nursing where he excelled. He worked at St. Mark's Hospital and U of U Medical Center, as well as at Valley and Saint Rose Hospitals in Las Vegas, Nevada.
David is survived by his father, Gene and his sister, Diane (Jay Dee) Cahoon of Clinton, Utah. He will also be greatly missed by his nephews and nieces, who were his greatest friends and admirers. David was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce.
We will miss the heated card and dice games, where he was usually always the winner. The family wishes to thank his friend, Tom, for his help and friendship to David, especially in his last few months.
A short memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 17, at 11:00 a.m. at the Clinton 19th Ward Chapel (702 West 1300 North, Clinton - exit 338 west to Main, north to 1300 N. then west.) Interment in Clinton City Cemetery following service. Broomhead Funeral Home.
