RADIO CHANGES KKAT (FM-101.9), which was recently purchased by Millcreek Broadcasting, has hired John Marks as its new program director. Marks, who was a KKAT DJ in the 1980s, helped mold the station into one of the market's top performers.

Marks has spent his past six years in Las Vegas at KWNR (FM-95.5) and is credited with taking that station from a 4.5 to a 10.5 percent share in the Aribtron ratings there.

Former KKAT morning star Richard Cano also confirmed Millcreek has been talking to him about a DJ spot. Cano currently works at a station in Medford, Ore.

"Mary," part of KZHT (FM-97.1) "Z-Morning Zoo" show is leaving in February. Clear Channel is looking for someone to join "Frankie" and "Danger Boy."
