The law firm of Clyde Snow Sessions & Swenson has named two new partners. Walter A. Romney Jr. joinedthe firm in 1997 as an associate. He is a graduate of the University of Utah College of Law and participated in the American Inns of Court, Sutherland Inn of Court II, the London Law Consortium and the British Legal Externship Program. Matthew A. Steward joined the firm in 1999. He is a graduate of Colorado College and the University of Oregon Law School and has served as a clinical instructor at the U. law school.

Boede & partners has promoted Jill Krogh from controller to chief financial officer and partner. Krogh joined boede & partners, a Salt Lake-based integrated communications agency, in 2001.

Bob Ahlander was named director of communications for the Utah League of Credit Unions. Ahlander has a background in the entertainment industry, including experience managing music tours. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University.

The law firm of Stoel Rives has promoted two attorneys to the position of principal. Mark Hindley practices in the firm's litigation department, with an emphasis in complex commercial disputes. He is a graduate of the U. College of Law. Marc Rasich, a member of the firm's litigation department, concentrates his practice on complex civil litigation involving intellectual property. He is also a graduate of the U. law school.

Irwin Union Bank has named Vince M. Mancuso as vice president - portfolio manager commercial banking. He will be responsible for credit underwriting and administration of new and existing commercial loan relationships. Mancuso has 12 years of financial services experience. He is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University.

CompHealth Group, a Salt lake-based health care staffing firm, announced that Ronald Picco has joined the company as vice president of operations. Picco has more than 20 years of experience in the staffing industry, most recently as vice president of operations at another health-care staffing company.

Gregg D. Stephenson has joined the law firm of Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy. As a member of the firm's tax, estate and benefits group, Stephenson will focus his practice on estate planning and wealth preservation strategies for high net worth clients. He is a graduate of Weber State University and the University of Notre Dame Law School.

Hospice for Utah announced two new employees. Amy VanDel has joined the agency as a case manager. Most recently, VanDel worked at a Utah hospital's labor/delivery unit. She is a graduate of Salt Lake Community College. Jon Addington joined Hospice for Utah as a chaplain. Addington is ordained as a non-denominational minister and is an active member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the National Council of Hospice and Palliative Professionals. He is a graduate of Central Bible College in Missouri.

The Road Home Board of Trustees welcomes the following new members: Brenda Koga, secondary inclusion specialist in the Granite School District; Kerry Steadman, director of Salt Lake County Human Services; Jason Yujnovich, a mechanical engineer; Linda Benton (not pictured), a retired certified public accountant; Paul Craig (not pictured), owner of Mason's Interiors; Brenda Farnsworth (not pictured), clinical coordinator and staff development educator at St. Mark's Hospital; Phyllis LeFevre (not pictured), co-founder of the Utah Women's Alliance for Building Community; and Bonnie Salazar (not pictured), who currently works for the Curtilage Fund.

Sahara Inc. has appointed John W. Rosenthal as project development manager. Prior to joining Sahara, Rosenthal was business and economic development director for Salt Lake County. In his new job, Rosenthal will enhance business networks and existing programs.

Falcon's Ledge, a wing-shooting, falconry and fishing lodge, has promoted new managers at its 600-acre retreat. Jake Ricks was promoted to adventures manager. He will be responsible for managing the Pro Shop, guide staff and all outdoor activities. Shelly Felter was promoted to hospitality manager for all lodging, dining and in-lodge activities.

The Administrative Office of the Courts and the 4th Judicial District have named Paul Vance as court executive for the 4th district, which includes Juab, Millard, Utah and Wasatch counties. Vance has worked for the Utah State Courts for 29 years, most recently as clerk of court in the 3rd Judicial District.

NAI Utah has hired Gentry Jensen as director of operations in the company's property management division. Gentry spent eight years with the U.S. Navy as a SEAL Officer. Most recently, he worked as an associate with a financial services firm in New York City. He is a graduate of the US. Naval Academy and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

C. Lloyd Mahaffey has joined the board of directors of Sento Corp. Mahaffey has more than 20 years of experience in the development, funding and marketing of advanced technology systems to business and other markets. He is currently managing partner for Redleaf Group Inc. in Pennsylvania.

Freestyle Marketing Group has hired Florinda Zeuthen as director of client services. Zeuthen is a graduate of Utah State University.

Aziz A. Mohabbat was named vice president of operations and chief operating officer at Paradigm Medical Industries Inc. Mohabbat served in that same capacity from 2001 to 2003.

D. Scott Berrett and Peter C. Schofield have joined Strong & Hanni Law Firm as associates. Berrett is a member of the firm's medical malpractice group. Schofield will focus his practice in real estate and commercial litigation.
