PROVO — A Provo private school will be moving in fall 2005.

Meridian, now at 300 N. 900 East, has obtained property close to Geneva Road and I-15.

According to the Meridian School Board of Trustees, the school purchased land that was previously owned by the Geneva Recreation Association, an organization of Geneva Steel employees.

When Geneva Steel closed in 2003, the land was given to the Utah Valley State College. Proceeds from the sale will go toward establishing a scholarship available to students at UVSC.

The new campus will be designed by an Ogden-based firm, and the first round of designs have already been completed.
