ST. GEORGE — A pastor accused of sexually abusing an 11-year-old student at a Christian school where he was a teacher will stand trial next month.

A judge in St. George's 5th District Court scheduled a four-day jury trial for Gabriel Carlin, beginning Jan. 22.

Carlin, 32, has pleaded not guilty to four counts of aggravated sex abuse of a child, a first-degree felony. St. George police said Carlin taught at the East Harbor Christian Academy, where the victim attended school.
