Rock Star: Supernova (7 p.m., Ch. 2): Another hopeful is eliminated.
Blue Collar TV (7 and 7:30 p.m., Ch. 30): A new episode, then a repeat.
Nightmares & Dreamscapes (7 and 8 p.m., TNT): If Stephen King had written "The Twilight Zone," it would have looked like this. This eight-part anthology — two hourlong episodes each Wednesday for four weeks — adapts eight King stories for TV with pretty good results. First up is "Battleground," a scary hour about a hitman who becomes a target, and it's told without dialogue. Then comes "Crouch End," about newlyweds whose detour goes wrong.
America's Got Talent (7:30 p.m., Ch. 5): The semifinals begin.
HGTV has a pair of new series: Urban Outsiders (7:30 and 11:30 p.m.) transforms junky city lots into beautiful gardens; Junk Brothers (9 p.m. and 1 a.m.) turns trash into treasures.
So You Think You Can Dance (8 p.m., Ch. 13): The 12 remaining finalists perform.
Project Runway (10 p.m., Bravo): The third season of this reality show to pick the Next Great Fashion Designer opens with an hourlong casting special that shows us how the 15 contestants were chosen.
