PROVO — Singer-songwriter Cherie Call won five Pearl Awards from the Faith Centered Music Association Saturday, and singer-songwriter-producer Jenny Jordan Frogley earned four.The awards were handed out during a banquet held Saturday at Brigham Young University.
A pair of awards also went to the women's vocal group One Clear Voice.
LDS composers Merrill Bradshaw and Lawrence Lyon were recognized posthumously for their contributions to both secular and sacred music.Performers included nominated artists Call, Frogley, One Clear Voice, Jason Deere, Steven Sharp Nelson & Marshall McDonald, and Joshua Creek.
