Kristen Lee Findley

Kristy Lee Findley, 16, passed away in Salt Lake City on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007 after a tragic accident while sledding in her home town of Centerville, Utah. She was born in Burlington, Vermont, and moved to Centerville, Utah with her family when she was 12 years old. She was valiant in her faith in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Kristy was a junior at Viewmont High School, member of the National Honor Society, lifeguard, member of the Viewmont Swim Team and benefitted from the association of many wonderful friends. She was very proud of brother who is serving a mission for the LDS Church in Wisconsin. She had many goals in life and was on track to meet them due to her steadfastness, diligence and faith.

Kristy is survived by her immediate family: Allen (dad), Karen (mom), Adam (brother), Summer (sister) and Daniel (brother). Also survived by grandparents: John and Daisy Murphy (Pittsford, NY) and Harry and Hilda Findley (Cobbtown, GA).

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007 at the Willow Farms LDS Chapel, 1298 North 400 West, Centerville. Friends and family may call Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Thursday morning 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services.
