Obituary: Kelly Michael Gates

Kelly Michael Gates 1983 ~ 2007 Our loving son, brother, grandson and friend Kelly Michael Gates 23 died July 22, 2007 at his home. Born July 27, 1983 to Michael John and Kristine Conger Gates. He was a student at Salt Lake Community College. Kelly was a gifted musician and enjoyed all kinds of music. He played the guitar by ear and was a talented DJ in the Salt Lake area. He made friends wherever he went. He loved learning about preparing food and enjoyed eating sushi with his friends. Kelly had a love for life and a zest for living. He enjoyed the outdoors, cars, and motorcycles. Survived by his parents and sister Jaimie Nichole; grandparents George and Lillian Fish, and Ronald and Patricia Conger; great-grandparents Robert and Judy Coet, and aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial services will be held Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
