"The Grandeur of Nature: Paintings by Lola," featuring 50 watercolors created over the past 10 years by artist Lola Kartchner, will be on display at the Sandy Senior Center, 9310 S. 1300 East, through February. The center promotes local arts by providing senior artists with studio space in which to practice their art. The subjects in Kartchner's exhibit are flowers, old houses and the majestic scenery of Lake Powell. The watercolors will be on display in the center's main gallery from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. during the week.
