Pleasant Grove High School, 700 E. 200 South, is having a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new addition at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, at the school.

After the ceremony, there will be an open house and parent-teacher conferences.

The Pleasant Grove High School addition was part of the 2006 Alpine School District Bond, which voters approved for $230 million.

The addition includes 29 new classrooms, new offices, a commons area, a stadium, a track, parking and improved patron entrance and drop-off. The project is complete. Students and teachers are in the process of moving into the new area of the school.
