Real Salt Lake today announced that the defending MLS Cup champions have received a conditional selection in the 2012 MLS SuperDraft from fellow "MLS Class of 2005" side Chivas USA in exchange for the Discovery rights to defender Dario Delgado. Real Salt Lake had placed the Costa Rican defender on its Discovery list and had a higher priority than Chivas USA, who gave RSL the future draft selection in exchange for the Utah side dropping Delgado from its Discovery considerations.
