J. Ballard Washburn 1948 ~ 2011
JB Washburn passed away April 7, 2011 due to melanoma cancer. He was born August 21, 1948 in Provo, a son of Lark L. and Arlea Walker Washburn. JB graduated from Amphitheater High School in Tucson, Arizona. He attended Brigham Young University and served in the West Spanish American Mission. Most of his professional years were in Real Estate. He enjoyed hunting, racquetball, golf and temple work. He is survived by his wife Julie Davis, his parents, his siblings: Penelope (Duane) Hanberg of Vernal, Mike L (Debra) Washburn of Salt Lake City, Paula Hill of Mesa, Arizona, Peggy McVea of Holladay, Stephen Lark Washburn of Murray. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by his brother Guy Kelly Washburn. Memorial Services will be held Sunday April 10, 2011 at 5 p.m. at the LDS Ward Chapel located at 800 West 1600 North, Orem, UT.
