SALT LAKE CITY — Travis Wilson, a 6-foot-6, 200-pound quarterback from San Clemente (Calif.) High School, has given the University of Utah an early recruiting commitment.

Wilson passed for 2,031 yards and 12 touchdowns over 11 games last season as a junior. He also rushed for 457 yards. Besides Utah, Wilson fielded offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Iowa State, UCLA and Washington.
