Luana Ruth Miller Johnson1930 ~ 2012Memory KeeperLuana Ruth Miller Johnson, 81, passed away April 15, 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born June 19, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ruby D Poulsen and Thomas LeRoy Miller. She married Richard C. Johnson on September 15, 1951 in the Salt Lake Temple.Her family was her greatest joy and achievement. She will be remembered most for her compassion, consideration, sacrifice, selflessness, sensitivity and thoughtfulness. She was the world's best listener! "For charity is the pure love of Christ."She is survived by her husband Richard, children Gayle (William) Soule, Lynn (Sue), David (Cheryl), Leslie (Jeff) Zidek, Dale (Joanie), Jennie (Cary) Mortensen, Laurel (Steven) Davis, 38 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving parents.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 19th at 11:00 a.m. at the Bennion 1st Ward, 3045 W Bernina Dr (5825 S) with viewings to be held Wednesday, April 18th at the Holladay-Cottonwood Memorial Mortuary, 4670 S Highland Dr, and at the LDS chapel one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
