James Jefferson Fackrell1975 ~ 2012James Jefferson Fackrell returned to the loving arms of his Savior on July 1, 2012. He was born in Salt Lake City on February 7, 1975. As a child he moved to Buffalo, New York and even though he returned to Salt Lake City at the age of six, always felt the Buffalo Bills were his hometown team. He graduated from Bingham High School in 1993. He wholeheartedly served an LDS mission in Las Vegas, Nevada and developed a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, which he taught his children and the youth in his neighborhood. James married his eternal sweetheart, Melissa Stoker Fackrell, in the Salt Lake Temple in 1996, settling in Herriman, Utah. While not normally prone to sappiness, he would gush at length over the love he had for his wife and daughters. James may have had four daughters but he lived like he had four sons. James loved the time he had with his girls and taught them how to fish, hunt, ride horses and live off the land. James worked hard to establish his own plumbing business and took pride in providing high quality, honest work to his loyal customers who all viewed him as a friend. James was known for his rugged, bone-shattering handshakes and a personality to match. James was an avid fisherman and hunter. He found a soothing strength and peace in nature and often escaped the stresses of life in the mountains. He is survived by his wife Melissa; daughters Kylee, Aspen, Nelea, and Graci; parents Karl and Tammie Fackrell, sister Karla, and brothers Robert and Jared. Preceding James in death are his grandparents James and Margaret Hudson, and Karl and Sybil Fackrell.A visitation with the family will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 East 10600 South).
