Jamison Mark Moore4/20/1970 ~ 9/29/2013Father, son, brother, lover, artist, musician, nature enthusiast, a pretty good whistler, not the best dancer, but definitely a snappy dresser, Jamison Moore has shuffled off this mortal coil to continue his eternal progression. He leaves behind family and friends who love him dearly. We will miss his wit and wisdom, his endless discourses on music, and his good natured friendship. Jamison spent his life in pursuit of art and beauty. He painted, sculpted, wrote, and composed. He formed his own company, Marrow Design, and did freelance work for the Santa Fe Opera, Ballet West, and private residences throughout the Southwest. His professional journey took him from Disney movie sets to Gaudi-themed bars in Vegas. He was a musician that played multiple musical instruments. He loved belts and belt buckles and enjoyed showing off his vast collection, often his own creations.Jamison is survived by his daughter, Milou Nieminen; parents, M. Gail Young (Kenneth) and Michael Moore; stepmother M. Jean Moore; brothers M. Christopher Moore (Diane) and Gregory T. Moore; and his nephews and nieces. He is now reunited with his grandparents and his beloved dog Lazarus. Charles Bukowski, a favorite of Jamison's, said: "An artist says a hard thing in a simple way." It is a hard thing to say goodbye to Jamison, so we will let the artistry of Jamison's poetry say it simply: "and these are the wings I have fashioned for myself, a heartbeat driven by dream...dig me but don't bury me." As you wish, Jamison. Until we meet againPlease contact family or friends for information regarding the service to be held on October 10, 2013.
