Lois Jean Randall1931 ~ 2013On Monday, June 10, 2013, Lois Jean Randall, loving wife, wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was joyously reunited with her husband LeGrand, her parents, siblings and other loved ones. Jean would have been 82 years old this coming Christmas day. She was born December 25, 1931 in Pleasanton, Kansas to parents Homer Clinton Seright and Goldie Lee Titus. Jean was the last surviving of her seven siblings. At the age of 10, Jean and her family moved to Tooele, Utah where she was raised, attended school, and met and married her sweetheart, LeGrand Randall on June 6, 1951. Le and Jean moved to Salt Lake in 1961 where they raised their four children; Janet, Sharon, Charles, and Leslie. Jean was involved with Butler Elementary School as the PTA President from 1962 through 1963. Jean was converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ and was baptized in 1961. She served faithfully in many callings as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 1973 Jean was sealed for time and eternity to her husband and children in the Salt Lake Temple. Jean will be remembered for her unconditional love, her generosity, and all of the hugs and kisses she gave, even to the unsuspecting. We'll miss you Mom, but know that we'll be together again. Jean is survived by: her children, Janet Sharp (Keith), Sharon Tripp (Gregory), Charles Randall (Christine) and Leslie Lund (Curtis). The family acknowledges and appreciates all of the friendship, love and help offered to Jean by her dear friends in the Butler 8th Ward.Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2013 at the Butler 8th Ward LDS Church, 2700 East 7000 South. A viewing for family and friends will precede the funeral from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Interment will be at the Mountain View Memorial Cemetery, 3115 East 7800 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.
