Janet Kathleen DeGraw Cragun1945 ~ 2014Janet Kathleen DeGraw Cragun (Kathy Cragun) aka 'Mooba' and 'The Old Bag' returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father and her parents, Wayne and Enid DeGraw, on February 8th, 2014 following a sudden illness. Kathy left this world peacefully surrounded by her loving husband of 44 years, Lamont Gail Cragun, and all five of her children, Suzy (Brown) Zahler, Michelle (Cragun) Jensen, Mike Cragun, Bryan Cragun and Jeff Cragun. Kathy loved spending time with her family, especially her 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, who she took out on frequent outings. She loved drives up the canyons and motor home rides with her brothers and sisters, Joanne Mason, Lynne DeGraw, Sharon Vickers and Jerry DeGraw. Kathy and Lamont enjoyed many trips and cruises together during their retirement. Kathy was a friend to the lonely and the widowed and loved visiting with the women at the Utah State Prison. Kathy was affectionately known as the 'Candy Lady' at her church, passing out candy weekly to all the children on their way home. She was also well known for never being seen without her trademark lipstick, her 'blinged up' accessories, giving crisp new paper bills in birthday cards and her beloved laugh attacks. We would like to thank all the caregivers at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, Life Guard International, and the Respiratory ICU at IMC. An open house celebration of Kathy's wonderful life will be held on February 28, 2014 at the Granger North Stake Center, 3175 South 3450 West in West Valley City, UT from 6 - 9 pm for all who knew and loved her.
