Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner will star as the parents in Disney's film adaptation of the popular Reading Rainbow children's book "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day."
Coming to theaters Oct. 10, the film is based on the story written by Judith Viorst in 1972.
In the film's first trailer, 11-year-old Alexander, played by Ed Oxenbould, seems to be a magnet for disaster. But in a twist on the original plot, Alexander's family also comes to understand what it means to have a bad day.
