KENSINGTON, M.D. — Events at the Washington, D.C., Visitors’ Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints includes musical performances and speakers.

Vocalists Bernadette and Winston Charles will perform on Saturday, May 17, at 7 p.m.

On Sunday, May 18, at 7 p.m., Lance Walker, director of public and international affairs in Washington D.C., will be featured at the “Why I Believe” fireside. An art exhibit titled “Witnesses of Christ,” by Liz Lemon Swindle is on display at the visitors’ center until June 15.

A Multicultural Showcase was on Saturday, May 10, at 7 p.m. The showcase included Native American, African American, Polynesian, Asian and Latin cultures sharing songs and dances and views of life. A Night of Music and Inspiration wa on Sunday, May 11, at 7 p.m., features the missionaries of the Washington D.C. North Mission.
