Brayden Eriksen and JT Timmons led the Utah Valley University men's golf team with even par 72s in round two at the WAC Golf Championship on Tuesday.

The Wolverines carded a 292 (+4) in Tuesday's second round, improving on their first round score by one stroke. UVU remains in third place with a two-day score of 585 (+9). UVU is just three strokes behind second place Missouri-Kansas City and is only 10 strokes behind leader New Mexico State.

"Today was a little bit of an up and down day for us," Utah Valley head coach Chris Curran said. "We got off to a great start and then the third hole jumped up and got us. We rebounded as four of our guys played pretty solid. If we can put together a good round tomorrow, we'll have a fighting chance. We're just going to regroup and stick to our game plan and try and put the lowest score out there."

Eriksen carded an even par 72 on Tuesday with 11 pars and four birdies. He now holds a two-round score of 1-under-par 143 and sits just four strokes behind UMKC's Mitch Tucker for the overall lead.

Timmons recorded 10 pars and four birdies to shoot his even par 72 on Tuesday. The sophomore is in a tie for the 18th spot on the individual leaderboard with a two-round score of 5-over-par 149.

Senior Mike Dart shot a 1-over-par 73 in round two and is now in a tie for eighth place with a two-day total of 145 (+1). Freshman Blair Bursey carded a 3-over-par 75 on Tuesday and sits alone in 17th place with a two-round score of 148 (+4).

Senior Preston Richards rounded out the scoring for the Wolverines on Tuesday with a 7-over-par 79. The senior is in 35th with a two-day tally of 158 (+14).
