Neon Trees drummer Elaine Bradley, former "The Voice" contestant Ryan Innes and other musicians covered some of composer Michael McLean's songs, including "Homeless" and "You're Not Alone," and they talk about their experiences in this video posted Friday by Deseret Book.

Producer Eric Robertson collaborated with 10 artists to make the album, "Hold On: A Modern Tribute to the Music of Michael McLean."

The album features an indie, eclectic pop take on the religious music.

"The whole point of this thing is to introduce people who might not already be familiar with Michael McLean," Bradley said in the video. "I think it also is a fun thing for people who already are Michael McLean fans to get a different take on it."
