The funeral service for Elder Richard G. Scott, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was held Monday, Sept. 28, at 11 a.m. MDT in the Salt Lake Tabernacle on Temple Square. Elder Scott died Sept. 22 of causes incident to age. He was 86.
Elder Scott served as an apostle from 1988 until the time of his death. He is remembered for his love of family, artistic talents, dedicated service and hope-filled messages.
