SOUTH SALT LAKE — The South Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce has named George Theodore, a longtime counselor at Lincoln Elementary, as its Educator of the Year.
Theodore, who is an avid golfer and a former Major League Baseball player for the New York Mets, and has spent the better part of 30 years as a counselor at the school.
Generations of Lincoln Elementary students have benefitted from his expertise and dedication. As Principal Afton Lambson put it: “Everybody knows George.”
