RENO — The Wildcats are going dancing.
Jeremy Senglin scored 20 points as Weber State beat Montana 62-59 in the Big Sky tournament final Saturday night at the Reno Events Center.
In a game that went down to the wire, the Wildcats took a three-point lead at halftime and went blow-for-blow with the Grizzlies the rest of the way to wind up with the win.
Ryan Richardson hit some big shots for Weber State, going 4-of-6 from beyond the arc en route to 15 points.
The Wildcats took care of business after winning the regular season league crown with a 15-3 record.
Before Montana, Weber State beat Portland State and North Dakota in the Big Sky tournament.
Two years ago, the Weber State made its last trip to the NCAA Tournament, losing in the first round to Arizona.
