Scott Sterling, a popular character on BYUtv's "Studio C," returned to YouTube on Monday. Instead of helping the Yale Bulldogs win a game of soccer against the University of North Carolina, as he did in a previous sketch, this time he helped Yale win a game of volleyball.

“Buckle up, ladies and gentlemen, because Scott Sterling’s face has entered the building,” the sports commentator said in the new video.

With the help of Sterling’s face, the Yale Bulldogs once again beat the University of North Carolina, and Sterling once again left the game on a stretcher.

In November 2014, Sterling had his first rise to fame after surviving a soccer shootout, which garnered over 37 million views on YouTube.

After Sterling’s first video took off in 2014, producer Jared Shores told Deseret News that when Matt Meese, who plays Sterling, pitched the idea, no one expected it to do as well as it did.

"When he first pitched it to us, everyone thought it was really funny, and we really enjoyed it, but I don’t think anyone, even when it was posted, no one looked at each other and said, 'This is it. This is the one,'" Shores said. "We all just said, ‘Oh, it turned out really good. This is good.' But we kind of say that about all of the stuff we do. We wouldn’t put something out that we think, ‘That’s pretty bad.’”
