After an up-and-down career at the University of Utah that saw him become a fan favorite while he struggled mightily with injuries, wide receiver Kenneth Scott took to Twitter Tuesday to express gratitude for the chance he'll have to try out for the Los Angeles Rams.

Scott finished 10th in school history with 127 receptions during a career that spanned six seasons, two of which were almost completely wiped out.

Lexi Eaton Rydalch working to earn spot with Seattle Storm

Former Springville High School and BYU women's basketball star Lexi Eaton Rydalch was drafted by the WNBA's Seattle Storm last month, and she is now in a fight to earn a roster spot.

As detailed in a feature by Percy Allen of The Seattle Times, Eaton Rydalch is one of six guards currently on the 16-player roster that has to get trimmed down to 12 before the season opener May 15.

“You just compete every single day,” Eaton Rydalch said. “You can’t worry about the outcome because you waste energy doing that and you need to put all of your energy into competing every day."

Former Ute Delon Wright facing brother Dorell in NBA playoffs

The relationship between ex-University of Utah guard Delon Wright and his brother Dorell was well-told during the former's time in Salt Lake City, and now the two are facing one another in the NBA playoffs.

A story by Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel in Florida tells how the matchup between Delon's Toronto Raptors and Dorell's Miami Heat is giving the brothers the opportunity to play against each other on the professional level, something they weren't sure they were going to be able to do, even after the former Ute was drafted last summer.

"He's helped me a lot," Delon said of what his brother has done during his transition to the NBA. "Ever since I was 12 years old, he was in the NBA. So ever since then, I've been looking up to him and he's helped me on my way to college, the pros."
