Social media posts with a connection to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its members last week highlighted LDS chefs and musicians collaborating with national companies, news organizations and other LDS entertainers. Additionally, social media accounts for LDS Church leaders featured stories, counsel and highlights from the 2016 Seminar for New Mission Presidents and their wives.

Six LDS sisters started a blog called “Six Sisters Stuff,“ which resulted in a line of cookbooks and other online help with baking, crafts, health and more. This weekend, the American retail food chain Kroger turned over its Twitter account to “Six Sisters Stuff.”

LDS violinist Lindsey Stirling was interviewed in an ABC News video at VidCon, a conference for people involved with online videos. In the interview, she was asked about her favorite and hardest music videos to film.

Stirling also released a new music video, collaborating with “Dancing With the Stars” champion Derek Hough. The video, “The Arena,” has over 2 million views in three days. Her newest album, “Brave Enough,” became available for preorder on the same day as the release of the video.

Sara Arkell, also known as The Piano Gal, is an LDS YouTuber-pianist whose “Frozen” piano duet with Jason Lyle Black went viral with over 3.9 million views. She tweeted a picture with Monica Moore Smith, an actress in the new “Saturday’s Warrior” film, announcing an upcoming collaboration.

Mormon Newsroom released a new YouTube video, “Respecting Our Differences While Defending Religious Freedom.”

Posts from the social media accounts of Elders D. Todd Christofferson, Dale G. Renlund and David A. Bednar featured pictures and inspiration from the 2016 Seminar for New Mission Presidents and their wives. Elders Christofferson, Renlund and Bednar are members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

Elder Christofferson also spoke at the Freedom Festival in Provo, Utah, on June 26.
