One Utah couple’s baby has become a famous rock star even before he or she is born.

A Santaquin, Utah, couple noticed that their baby was making a particularly funny hand gesture in ultrasound photos. The baby’s hands were shaped in a “rock out” symbol, or, as the New York Daily News called it, “devil horns.”

FOX13 in Salt Lake City first reported the story on Monday.

The baby’s picture made national headlines, too, capturing the attention of the New York Daily News, St. Louis Post-Dispatch and AOL News.

The Kansas City Star shared the video, too, and posted it on its website with the comment, “Hard to believe it when you see what this baby does in utero.”

Jared Ahlin, the father of the soon-to-be born rock fan, said it almost happened by accident, according to the multiple reports. He, his wife, Makelle Ahlin, and the doctors reviewed the ultrasound photos when he noticed the baby’s pinky stood in an unexpected position, viral news site Little Things reported.

“She (the doctor) kind of went passed it, and I was just like, ‘Hey, go back, I need that picture!’” Jared said, according to Little Things.

As for what’s next, the couple seems unsure. But it looks like the baby already has a budding career in the rock business.

“We can only imagine what kind of music mom and dad must be playing to warrant this reaction from baby,” according to Little Things. “Maybe a little ‘Stairway to Heaven’ in the nursery when the little kiddo is born?”
