Fifth-grader Cierra Clements helps wash a firetruck during the grand opening of the Unified Fire Authority's Station No. 117 in Taylorsville on Tuesday. During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, participants heard from Taylrosville Mayor Larry Johnson, Unified Fire Authority Chief Dan Peterson and other dignitaries before being given tours conducted by fire personnel. The new facility is located at 4965 S. Redwood Road.
