AUDITIONS
Murray Arts in the Park will host auditions for “The Music Man” on May 9 and 11 from 6:30-9 p.m. at Murray High School 5440 S. State, Murray. Auditioners ages 10 and older are invited to participate. The children cast as Winthrop and Amaryllis must appear to be 10 or younger. Auditioners should be prepared to sing 16 bars from a Broadway song in the style of the show and demonstrate some basic choreography, which will be taught at the audition. Craft Lake City recently announced its new 2017 DIY Festival exhibition space for creators ages 14 and under. Artists will have the opportunity to sell their art work in the Kid Row section of the festival Aug. 12, according to a news release. Participants can apply through the Kid Row online application page at craftlakecity.com/kid-row. Each application requires five images and the payment of $10 via PayPal.
