A little more than a month after joining his first NFL team, former Utah cornerback Reggie Porter was waived by the Indianapolis Colts on Monday.
The rookie signed with Indianapolis as an undrafted free agent on May 4 and participated in the team’s rookie minicamp.
The Colts claimed second-year defensive back Tyvis Powell off waivers Monday, in addition to releasing Porter.

Porter made 22 starts in three seasons at Utah and had 18 pass deflections and two interceptions with the Utes.
