SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Transit Authority is tweaking TRAX, bus and FrontRunner schedules for Monday’s Pioneer Day festivities.

According to a news release, FrontRunner trains and buses will operate on a Saturday service schedule, meaning trains will depart hourly, while TRAX and the S-Line will run on a Sunday schedule. There will be no Park City to Salt Lake City Connect service.

To help people get to festivities in downtown Salt Lake City, FrontRunner will have an early start. The first northbound train will depart Provo at 4:50 a.m., and the first southbound train will depart Ogden at 5:07 a.m.

TRAX Green Line trains will start a half-hour earlier from the North Temple Bridge Station to meet FrontRunner trains.

In addition, UTA is reminding rodeo fans one of the easiest ways to attend the Days of ’47 Rodeo is to take the TRAX Green Line and hop off at the Fairpark Station.
