AMERICAN FORK — The Alpine Loop Scenic Byway is now closed for the season, the Utah Department of Transportation announced Thursday.

The portion of state Route 92 from milepost 14 to 22 usually closes around early- to mid-November, and typically reopens in late May or early June, according to the UDOT website.
