The House Judiciary Committee approved two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump, The Associated Press reports.

The impeachment charges will head to the full House of Representatives for a vote, which is expected to come next week.

The committee worked well past 11 p.m. in Washington, D.C., on Thursday night but called a break in order to hold a vote Friday morning.

Per The New York Times, the committee had two back-to-back votes on the articles. Both passed 23-17.
