Both the year and the decade will soon be coming to a close, and to help you “wrap” things up, Spotify has re-released its Spotify Wrapped tool so you can look back on your top music of 2019 and — if you dare —all of the 2010s.

Spotify first released the Wrapped feature in 2018, according to the Deseret News. Users were able to revisit the songs they’d listened to most throughout the year.

This year, though, Spotify has compiled data from the past 10 years (or however long you’ve been using the music-streaming service) so you can look back on how your music tastes have changed over the course of the decade, according to CNN.

How it works

If you’ve been using Spotify for over two years, you should be able to access Spotify Wrapped, according to CNN.

Your Spotify Wrapped results are available in the app, or else by visiting Once you get your results, Spotify will provide infographics that you can share to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, USA Today reported.

Top music of 2019

If you’re more interested in seeing what everyone else has been listening to instead of you personally, then Spotify has you covered there, too.

In a news release on their website, Spotify asked, “What did the world listen to in 2019?”

The answer?

Well for starters, a lot of Post Malone. The rapper and singer was the most-streamed artist of the year with with 6.5 billion streams, according to Spotify. And his song “Sunflower,” which was a collaboration with Swae Lee and was featured on the “Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse” soundtrack, made it to the top-three list of most-streamed songs in 2019.

Meanwhile, 17-year-old Billie Eilish is the second most-streamed artist behind Post Malone, with Ariana Grande as the third, Spotify reported.

And as for most-streamed songs in 2019, these were the top five, according to Spotify:

  1. “Señorita,” by Shawn Mendes and Camilla Cabello
  2. “bad guy,” by Billie Eilish
  3. “Sunflower,” by Post Malone and Swae Lee
  4. “7 rings,” by Ariana Grande
  5. “Old Town Road — Remix,” by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus

You can also find playlists on Spotify featuring everything from “Top Female Artists of 2019” to a pick of the year’s most popular podcasts.
