SALT LAKE CITY — If eyes are the windows to the soul, then James Harden’s soul is currently having a bad day.

Harden was hit in the face while he was fighting Draymond Green for a rebound Tuesday night during Game 2 of the Houston Rocket’s Western Conference semifinals game against the Golden State Warriors, ESPN reports.

Harden bled from both eyes and suffered a laceration on his left eyelid after Green’s left hand hit him in the face, according to The Guardian. He still scored 29 points and nearly led his team to victory.

While simply looking at Harden’s eyes is enough to make a person tear up, the internet had very few tears to give.

Instead, social media did what social media does best: they memed him.
