Utah State quarterback Andrew Peasley has entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report from Rivals.

Pleasley battled for the starting quarterback job early in the season and led the Aggies to a 49-45 win over Air Force, throwing three touchdowns.

“Thank you Utah State University. Four years of meeting amazing people and creating relationships that will last a lifetime. I have entered the transfer portal with 3 years of eligibility. Thank you Aggie Nation,” Peasley wrote on Twitter.

Logan Bonner ended up as Utah State’s full-time starter at quarterback, throwing for 3,628 yards and 36 touchdowns. Bonner has another year of eligibility. In addition, after Bonner was injured in the second quarter, with Peasley already out with an injury, third-string Cooper Legas was a star in Utah State’s LA Bowl win over Oregon State, throwing for 171 yards and two touchdowns in his first collegiate action.

Utah State’s sudden and unexpected program turnaround has laid the foundation for the future

Peasley threw for 415 yards and three touchdowns in 2021, completing 55% of his passes.
