Chick-fil-A is taking away the sauce.
Chick-fil-A will now begin limiting how many sauces it gives out due to a nationwide shortage of sauces, Fox News reports. Trust me, I wish we were kidding.
Here are the new Chick-fil-A sauce rules, according to KSL Newsradio:
- One sauce per entree.
- Two sauces per meal.
- Three sauces per 30-count chicken nuggets.
Chick-fil-A said customers might not have a chance to get some items on the menu because of the nationwide shortage, too.
- “Due to industrywide supply chain shortages, some items, like sauces, may be unavailable. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience,” Chick-fil-A said on its website.
However, Chick-fil-A employees have been instructed to offer customers full bottles of sauce (which cost more money) for those who want more than what’s been offered, according to Eat This, Not That! So if you really want your Chick-fil-A sauce, you’ll have to pay more for the bottle.
Chick-fil-A has been selling sauces in 8-ounce and 16-ounce squeeze bottles since 2020 when they first went on sale during the coronavirus pandemic.
Chick-fil-A did launch a new butterscotch milkshake in Salt Lake City since the city orders more milkshakes per capita than any other market, according to the Deseret News.
