A simple tweet about the future of Lucasfilm inspired “Star Wars” fans to share their ideas about what they would do for the “Star Wars” franchise.
The tweet — which came from Ally Cortés (@TalkWithAlly) — asked what fans would do if they became in charge of Lucasfilm.
- “You wake up as the head of LucasFilm, what’s the first thing you do?” Cortes asked.
“Star Wars” fans immediately responded with ideas for what they would do if they were in charge of Lucasfilm, sharing different ideas for projects and storylines to add into the “Star Wars” canon.

Here are the ideas that filtered out from the prompt.
- Brie Larson being hired as Mara Jade, a villainous character from the “Star Wars” expanded universe who eventually became Luke Skywalker’s wife.
- A trilogy of Darth Vader films between “Revenge of the Sith” and “Star Wars: Rogue One.”
- A sequel to “Solo.”
- A live-action “Star Wars” series that takes place between “A New Hope” and “The Empire Strikes Back.”
- A film called “Rogue Two” would focus on bounty hunters trying to steal a frozen Han Solo from Boba Fett in between “The Empire Strikes Back.”
- A live-action film about “Rebels” character Ezra Bridger, “Clone Wars” character Sabine Wren and the expanded universe legend Grand Admiral Thrawn.
- A “Star Wars” live-action series about the Sith Lords before Emperor Palpatine.
- A spinoff series about Finn (John Boyega) and his journey to becoming a Jedi Master.
- Remake the sequel trilogy with Finn as the main character.
- A series that takes place after “The Rise of Skywalker” where — well, I’ll just let the fan’s idea explain it:
