The BYU basketball program has received an invitation to participate in the 2022 Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas, according to a report in College Hoops Thursday. 

Other teams joining the Cougars are Kansas, Tennessee, USC, North Carolina State, Wisconsin, Butler and Dayton. 

The 2021 Battle 4 Atlantis field features Baylor, Michigan State, Auburn, UConn, Syracuse, Arizona State, VCU and Loyola Chicago.

In 2021, BYU will play in the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic along with Hawaii, Liberty, Northern Iowa, South Florida, Stanford, Vanderbilt and Wyoming. It will be held on Dec. 22, 23 and 25 at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.
