We have our first unofficial look at Ewan McGregor in the upcoming “Obi-Wan Kenobi” series.
New images from the Hollywood reports website Just Jared show McGregor wrapped up in some sort of jacket and wearing a mask. However, he’s sporting a new haircut and looks to be wearing a dark brown cloak.
The photos are reportedly from the set of the upcoming “Obi-Wan Kenobi” set. The boots he’s wearing are pretty recognizable to “Star Wars” fans.
New ‘Star Wars’ cloak, confirmed?
McGregor teased that Obi-Wan Kenobi might have another type of cloak on this new show. He said on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” that he had filmed a scene already, and couldn’t wait to put on a Jedi robe yet again.
- “It was good. It feels great,” McGregor said. “I have to say I’m having a really good time. The costume is probably slightly different than you might expect. To go back into the role, shall we say, is great. It’s all still layered, it feels good. There are great scripts, and great people to work with. It’s great. I’m having a good time.”

Disney+ released a cast list for the series already. The cast includes McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Indira Varma, Kumail Nanjiani, Rupert Friend, Sung Kang, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.
