After a wild Friday that saw four players commit for the Class of 2022, the Utah State football program landed yet another pledge on Saturday afternoon, as Lone Peak High’s Takeao Hansen announced on Twitter his intention to join the Aggies.

Unlike all four of Friday’s commits, Hansen holds scholarship offers from other Division I schools beside Utah State. According to 247 Sports, BYU and Colorado State have also offered him.
Listed by 247 at 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds, “Kao” Hansen tallied 56 tackles, two interceptions and two defensive touchdowns for Lone Peak last season, according to the Deseret News statistical database. He also added two receptions for 34 yards.
Hansen becomes the 13th prospect to commit to Utah State as part of its 2022 recruiting class.
