BYU is hauling in the commitments from Utah offensive linemen for its 2022 recruiting class.

The latest comes from Pine View High interior offensive lineman Peter Falaniko, who announced his commitment to Kalani Sitake’s program on Monday.

He’s the third offensive lineman from a Utah high school to commit to BYU since last Thursday, joining Bountiful’s Trevin Ostler and Orem’s Vae Soifua.

Falaniko is listed as 6-foot-3 and 305 pounds by 247 Sports, and he claims to have an 82-inch wingspan and 11.5 hand size on his Twitter profile. Falaniko also had scholarship offers from several Group of 5 schools, including Utah State, Colorado State, Fresno State and Hawaii, according to 247 Sports.

Falaniko announced on June 16 he had received a scholarship offer from BYU, and recently he shared photos on social media from a trip to USC.

Falaniko is the 14th prospect to commit to the Cougars as part of their 2022 recruiting class, including 11 from Utah.
