Marvel Studios released the final trailer for the upcoming “Eternals” film, which will debut in theaters later this year.
The trailer offers a glimpse at how the Eternals — a group of heroes who have been living forever — plan to fight off an emerging threat, which was created by all of Earth’s people coming back to Earth after the Thanos Snap.
- The Eternals are “a group of immortal heroes forced out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s oldest enemy, The Deviants,” according to a Marvel press release.
- The trailer makes clear why the Eternals never helped the Avengers with their growing threats even though they existed on Earth at the time.
- “When you love something, you protect it,” the trailer caption reads, a theme presented again and again throughout the trailer.
